Do's and don'ts of halloween costumes
Do's
- make your own costumes- put some kind of comic relief into it. The cost is usually alot cheaper if you make your own also they are more unique
- dress up as something you aren't- dress up as the opposite of what people see you as. If you are a jock dress like a nerd, if you are a girly girl dress thug.
- be creative- be original in what you do. So that no one can copy you. You want to stand out where ever you are.
Don'ts
- Go all out- don't half way do an outfit. If you are going to dress up make sure you are in full atire. Don't just throw a mask on and say you are in costume and don't spend less then 5 minutes putting it together.
- If you are a guy, don't dress in bad drag- it is not original and the humor has been lost since every halloween party there is there is some guy dress in awful drag.
- No couples costumes- it may be cute and everyone knows that you are a couple but honestly that is lame. Don't dress up like an animal or a baby just because your partner thinks you would look "absolutely adorable." It's not original and everyone thinks you two are da lamest. :)
